LG needed to let younger folks know about their new smartphone.
At a time when when people were doing some far out things with apps, we pitched them on a series of viral video ideas demonstrating weird and wonderful, fake apps.
I was responsible for working with a copywriter to brainstorm ideas which were presented to the client in storyboard form. I then worked with a team of film directors, producers and a production studio to produce 6 videos in total.
The videos were seeded online via LG’s Facebook page.
The videos were well received getting over 100,000 views on YouTube.
The campaign also included a competition where users submitted their own crazy app ideas.
