The furniture department at M&S.com was looking to increase sales. Research showed they had to increase awareness of furniture and inspire its customers more. In turn they would sell more furniture.
In response to the research, I worked with a team of researchers, product managers and UX designers to produce a series of new concepts to solve the pain points.
We produced several new concepts and a working prototype which included a ‘make it yours’ furniture customisation app, an inspiration room, a ‘find your style’ quiz and a ‘my favourites’ section.
The project itself was an internal project. It was received well by all stakeholders and may go into development in the near future.
